Shohratgarh is a tehsil and a nagar panchayat in Siddharthnagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

As of 2001 India census[1], Shohratgarh had a population of 8336. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Shohratgarh has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 51%. In Shohratgarh, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age. It is situated on the way to Gorakhpur from Gonda via loop line (meter gauge) of Indian Railway and Buddhist circuit road.
