Shohimardon (also Shahimardan or Shakhimardan, Russian: Шахимардан) is a small town in Fergana Province in eastern Uzbekistan. It is an enclave of Uzbekistan, completely surrounded by Kyrgyzstan, in a valley in the Pamiro-Alai mountains. According to legend, the Caliph Ali was buried in Shohimardon.
