Shkotovo

Shkotovo (Russian: Шкотово, 43°19′N, 132°21′E) is an urban-type settlement and a railway station in Shkotovsky District, Primorsky Krai, Russia.

Population: 5,312 (2006 Est.).[1]

The settlement was founded in 1865 as village on mouth of Tsymuhe River (now Shkotovka River) to Ussuri Bay and got an urban-type status in 1931. Its name is after Nikolay Shkot.

There are a car repair service, a tinned food plant, a dairy factory in Shkotovo.
