[edit] February 2008
With regard to your comments on User:User1688: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:25, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. nat.utoronto 01:17, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. nat.utoronto 01:18, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. JetLover (talk) (Report a mistake) 01:52, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: ROC presidential election, 2008
I removed your contributions because (1) it is written with a very one-sided tone (which is against one of our policies: WP:NPOV), and (2) you did not source it at all (which is against one of our policies: WP:V and WP:RS), NOT because of my political beliefs or affiliations. Also, please read up on our policy WP:3RR before you continue to contribute. nat.utoronto 01:29, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Firstly, I may be ethnically Chinese, but my loyalties and patriotism lies with Canada. Secondly, I was not trying to hide anything. If there was something negative about the parties or politicians I support, I will add it, but only if there are verifiable and reliable sources. So far, all you have done is add information that has not been sourced with either verifiable and/or reliable sources. nat.utoronto 01:36, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Born and raised in Canada is not a matter of convenience for me and never has, for me it's a fact of life. Also, your comments are bordering on becoming a violation on our policy WP:NPA. I suggest you read and comply with our policies before continuing any contributions on this website. nat.utoronto 01:45, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Republic of China presidential election, 2008. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. SQLQuery me! 02:55, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Notice
You've been given a lot of chances. This is your last one.
If you continue putting inappropriate material into the articles about the Taiwan election and the people running for office, you will be blocked until the day after the election. Understand? DS (talk) 04:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 06:34, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Block
I've blocked you for 48 hours for a couple of reasons. One, you were told to stop adding inappropriate information to Republic of China presidential election, 2008, but chose to continue. Edit warring doesn't solve anything. Also the threat you made in the last paragraph here is unacceptable. Once your block is expired, I ask you to refrain from edit warring, and discuss article changes on corresponding talk pages, in a civil manner. - Rjd0060 (talk) 06:52, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
