Hello there. I'm Nora, born and bred on the lovely (sometimes) island of Singapore.

I have a deep-rooted love of writing and for the English language though it is not my mother tongue (Malay). Come to think of it, I'm better at English too which is a constant source of embarassment. I am currently a part-time student struggling to finish my GCEs and an all-around slacker.

My life revolves around football, television, books and my family. I have a "'til death do us part" vow to honour with Liverpool Football Club and nothing gets me going more than fabulous matches on the weekends. As for television, I enjoy it thoroughly and with each passing moment, I find myself increasingly attracted to the notion of working in the entertainment business. Behind the cameras only, of course. Books are my passion. I started reading at six years old and remember being unable to pronounce the word "league" properly. These days, my favourite hang-out is the public library; specifically, the reference section where I like to hide out. I'm a full-blown hermit, you see.

I also write regularly in my blog at Livejournal though it is strictly friends-only.
