[edit] Calendar vs reckoning?
Which should be the main article, Shire Calendar or Shire-reckoning?
Do we need both articles or should reckoning redirect to Calendar?- Drhaggis 17:28, 1 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Although the months were likely the relic of a lunar system, they were certainly no longer synchronized with the lunar phases. As worded the article seems to imply such a connection.
