[edit] Copyright violations
I deleted the sections associated with these notes because they were pasted in wholesale and appear to be copyright violations.

[edit] Points of interest
Does this article really need to list nearly 50 "points of interest"? That's 1 point of interest for every 11 members of the community. --Tysto 20:11, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Copyright Violations
Although it may indeed "appear" to you that the articles you deleted are copyright violations, they in fact are not. Julie Wolfe lives across the street from me, in Shipshewana, and gave her full permission to use the text, with or without credit to her. I included the history for the benefit of local students researching their home town, and included the credit to Julie out of courtesy. She taught locally here for decades, and continues to contribute in whatever way she can. However, I won't squabble with you on the point. By the way, nice pictures on your profile Tysto. Saw many of them at Betterphoto.com too.
[edit] Weirdness in the demographics
"A popular and extremely good looking group of juvenile delinquents, known as Shipshe Rattz to the local police force, terrorized the town between the years of 1998 and 2003 and made up roughly 2.28% (U.S. Census) of the populace."
Isn't this a potential NPOV violation? After all, "extremely good looking" is something of a value judgment. Also, I find it strange that a "popular and extremely good looking group" would terrorize anyone. Terrorizing people is a good way to get unpopular very quickly.
Google finds one mention of the "Shipshe Rattz", and it's the one in this article. Are there any newspaper or book sources?
