Talk:Shipley railway station

[edit] Location
I'm now very confused. I put in the line about the original location having been 500m south of the current position on the basis of the 1847 OS map referenced, which clearly shows it on Valley Road.
But last week I found an article in the Bradford Observer from February 1849, which clearly describes it in its current location - it refers to the triangle. It doesn't say specifically that this is or isn't the original station, but the context is the architecture of the stations on the line generally, so I would have expected it to mention if the station had been repaced.
Oh dear, this is sounding like original research ... ColinFine 20:58, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
