That's a lot of schools... but there are no pages for them or citations. Shouldn't such a large amount of information need citations? Saimdusan Talk|Contribs 06:18, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

That is the official list of Shinto organizations, the places where this official list is published is at the References section. Thank you for your interest.JennyLen☤ 12:29, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

It is indeed a long list with very little information for any one given sect/school. But I don't think that's a bad thing - it just means there's potential, and perhaps incentive, for others to add more, and perhaps even create entire articles on individual schools. (In point of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if there are schools/sects which do have pages and which simply aren't linked here.) LordAmeth (talk) 12:19, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

I will take on the task of finding out if there are any articles and to create some when possible. This list was extracted form the official list of recognized Shinto organizations and sects as an authoritative reference with the potential to expand and link to each entry. I will try to do this in coming weeks.JennyLen☤ 09:42, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
