[edit] Best Bank in Japan

Admittedly I can only find it referenced on the Shinsei Bank website itself, but apparently they won Euromoney magazine's "Best Bank in Japan" award for 2004 (http://www.shinseibank.com/news/news_euromoney_e.html). If this is true then surely it's note-worthy...

It is on the magazine's site too: http://www.euromoney.com/article.asp?PositionID=search&ArticleID=1046273 Feel free to add the reference and claim to the article. Neier 09:53, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Purchase

LTCB articles states the following: "LTCB was purchased for ¥1 billion (US$9.5 million) in March 2000 by an investment partnership" while Shinsei Bank article states the following: "LTCB was sold to an international group led by US-based Ripplewood Holdings in March 2000 for ¥121 billion". 1 billion yen is obiously not equal to 121 billion yen, isn't it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.54.197.95 (talk) 19:25, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
