Speedrunning has become a significant aspect of videogame culture; games such as Doom, Half-life, Zelda, Mario, Sonic, and Halo in particular. Check the wikipedia articles on these games and several of them have whole sections of the main article devoted to the speedrunning phenomenon. Sega even hosted official time-attack trials for certain levels in Shinobi. Out of curiosity, regarding the game title as it's only "Shinobi", is this a reboot for the series? Like Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) was. --Mika1h 22:50, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
