Talk:Shine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Articles for each of the "Shine" songs need written, and probably need to include the first line of the song in each of them (copyright issues permitting) to ensure that info about a given song named "Shine" doesn't accidently get written into the wrong article. Joncnunn 18:21, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
I cleaned up this page per MoS:DAB. I deleted the following entries
- Shine (2001) by Depeche Mode -- isn't mentioned on Depeche Mode discography
- Shine on You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd -- everyone should wiki-search for the full term
- a pejorative term for an African American, short for "shoe shine" -- why would someone wiki-search for that?
- a sexual slang term in the United Kingdom for a handjob -- why would someone wiki-search for that?
The last two entries may be moved over to wikt:shine, although I don't think they should be. – sgeureka t•c 23:42, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- In the cleanup process, I noticed that many many artists have songs with the name "Shine". I cut-paste all the songs here that don't have wiki articles yet. Please limit the list of "Shine" songs on the main dab page that actually have Wikipedia articles. Otherwise, that list could go on and on. Disambiguate other "Shine" songs (that don't have wiki articles yet) into "[[Shine (ARTIST song)]]" on other wiki pages and only list them on the main dab page once they have wiki articles. – sgeureka t•c 15:32, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
