This article is a mass of fancruft (roster list, match results) if the article is about the promotion then the article should reflect that. If this isnt adressed soo those sections will be removed. --- Paulley
Thanks Paulley for ruining this article. you can just delete it cuz it's useless now.
The notability concern was ridiculous, but I understand that a major overhaul had to happen eventually when I compared it to other articles such as the Ring of Honor entry. But as it is right now, I think it's poorly worded and doesn't flow all that well(and does the first taping really need 2 references?). I made an initial attempt at editing a little last night and add some things that I believed are worth mentioning, but I when I came back to it this morning I see that Lakes reverted it back to to what he first edited it to without any reasoning. Why even bother if it's going to be policed in such a fashion. brimoral
Please explain why if it is considered fancruft but WWE listing is filled with similar information. It seems that the actual quality of posts is determined by its notability which will only hurt the overall quality of wikipedia and why people look up information on it. Most of us have regular encyclopedias and use this to look up content that would be neglected in normal reference books. I believe that if you’re going to institute guidelines they should be followed regardless and I personally think roster lists (another feature that the WWE listing has) is an important part of any promotion. Match Results should not be included from the DVD’s but a roster list and information about the promotion is necessary for comprehensive information about the subject. I'm curious as well to why the roster was removed with the reason "(removing roster... promotions that use independent stars should not havwe a roster)" given. A quick check of ROH, CZW, and PWG show that they have pages devoted to their rosters and those all use independent stars. In a little bit of irony, the ROH roster aticle has a section for SHIMMER wrestlers that have appeared on their shows. So since those promotions have entire seperate articles for just their rosters, I see no reason why SHIMMER can't have theirs on their page. And for a little bit more irony, WEW and NWWL have their rosters listed, including the ones that are just strippers and porn stars while SHIMMER has their list of legit women athletes removed.Demolicious 16:05, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
