Talk:Shih-poo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The only insight I may provide to the Shih-poo Wiki, is the fact that I live with one, and he is a very hyper and figity little furball. His name is Barton, and he is great with my son and my other dog Geonni, who is a shih-Tzu.Kennedych 04:26, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] temperment wrong
my shih-poo is not intelligent, doesn't do well with other species, and hates children (it growls if they touch her).--Needsbills 22:29, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- I have reverted your edit. Calling the subject of an article "utterly stupid," is both POV and against Wikipedia policy (articles cannot be made to attack the subject matter and could lead to a speedy delete if deemed to do so). I was about to give you a warning for unintentional vandalism until I saw this entry. If you want to debate this then feel free, but I think most Wikipedians will agree that what you've added is borderline vandalism. [edit] Notability established
The section "external links" cites independent sources. Therefore I am removing the "unsourced" tag. Also, that makes the subject notable. I am removing the "importance" tag. Sorted as part of the Notability Wikiproject. --B. Wolterding 12:08, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- Neither of the external links had any content which could be used to source the statements made in the article - both pages contained only text which referred to mixed-breed dogs in general. For reference, the links were:
- Neither page contains any textual content specific to the Shih-poo. Please check links before assuming they're sources! Zetawoof(ζ) 18:51, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] name
i thought you spell it "Shipoo", not "Shihpoo"12.216.165.50 16:42, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Spelling it "shitpoo" would be best. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.100.9.37 (talk) 00:58, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Images
This article is subject to a lot of "the photo of my dog is better, so I am giving it the most prominent position". Usually, the image isn't any better. Please desist from rearranging the article to give prominence to your own pet. Upload your images to the Commons. Thanks. Skeezix1000 (talk) 13:01, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
