[edit] Personal life
- Ghosh is married to Simon Torkington, a BBC News editor, and the mother of a daughter, Maya. A recent spoof film was made by Simon's colleagues as a tribute to him, because he is embarking on a new life in Qatar with Shiulie, who is referred to in much of the video. It has caused controversy at the BBC, some claiming BBC licence payer's money is abused. [2]
- Ghosh is a Patron of the charity International Care & Relief.
