Shirvan (city)

Shirvan (Azerbaijani: Şirvan, prior to 1938 Zubovka) is a city in Azerbaijan, located on the Kura River. Its former name was Ali Bayramli (owing to Ali Bayramov); the city was renamed to Shirvan by the decision of the Parliament of Azerbaijan on April 25, 2008[1][2].
