[edit] Another place in Goa
Shiroda or Shirodem (as commonly referred) is also a place in Goa near Sanvordem and Ponda. It houses one of the 3 engineering colleges of Goa, Rayeshwar institute of Engineering and Technology. It is more popular for its Kamakshi Temple (Devasthan). People flock to this temple on Amavasya (Umaas, in regional Konkani language) or New moon day.
