Shirley Solomon

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shirley Solomon is an award-winning Canadian television talk show host.

She hosted a daily afternoon talk show on CTV. It was syndicated to several American television stations--the first and only Canadian talk show to be syndicated in the U.S.

The show had a large studio audience, panel discussions and dealt with complex social, political and criminal justice issues. Solomon interviewed many A-list movie stars and high-profile music talent such as Celine Dion. She was admired and respected by critics and viewers alike for her intelligence, fearlessness, compassion, and her ability to handle complex issues. The Shirley Solomon Show had huge ratings and, after almost a decade of unparalelled success, it ended in 1995.
