Busbee was born August 9, 1941 in San Jose, California. She grew up with two sisters and three brothers. She went to the institute in Kentri, Morocco and from return to California she went to Burbank Business College of Santa Rosa. Later, she worked like designer in Solano Country.

In June 22, 1963, she married her husband Howard Busbee. They live in hills of California, where they have horses and other many animals.
