Shire of Emerald is a Local Government Area located in the Central Highlands region of Queensland, Australia. Based around the administrative centre of Emerald, the Shire also contains the towns of Bogantungan, Comet, Fernlees, Gindee, Withersfield and Yamala.
In addition, the Shire is home to a large Gemfields area that contains the towns of Anakie, Rubyvale, Sapphire and The Willows.
