Shira has multiple meanings:
- Shira, Republic of Khakassia, an urban-type settlement in the Republic of Khakassia, Russia
- Shira, or Sira a taluk in Tumkur district of Karnataka state in India
- Shira, on Mount Kilimanjaro, its western peak
- Shira, Nigeria, in Bauchi State
- Shira or Sheera is an Indian sweet dish prepared from Rava or Sajjige ( Semolina ) of wheat. It is silimar to a south Indian spicy dish Upma (Uppitu ) prepared from Rava or sajjige. Shira is also called halva in some parts of northern India, and can be considered its variant
