Shinya Ono

Shinya Ono (小野 晋也? born April 28, 1955) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Niihama, Ehime, he attended the University of Tokyo and received a master's degree in aeronautice from it. He was elected to the assembly of Ehime Prefecture for the first time in 1983 where he served for two terms, and then to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1993 after an unsuccessful run in 1990.
