Shinji Wada

Shinji Wada (和田 慎二 Wada Shinji?), who was born on April 19, 1950, is a Japanese manga artist, known for the creation of the Sukeban Deka franchaise. He was born in Kure, Hiroshima. He has had stories published in the manga anthology series Petit Apple Pie

When Shinji Wada released Sukeban Deka in 1979 after it was published by Hakusensha, his work became popular that he was commissioned to create the OAV series and a TV series that spawned three seasons, including two live-action movies.

As of 2007, he had been involved in creating his latest manga CROWN. He was previously involved in creating Sukeban Deka: Codename = Asamiya Saki.
