Shine On (The House of Love song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The House of Love's single Shine On was originally released in 1987, but struggled to become a hit, not making it into the UK Top 40. The band continued to receive song placements outside of the Top 40 until, in early 1990, "Shine On" was re-released and made it all the way to number 20. Second single "Beatles And The Stones" made it to #36, but afterwards, the band did not have any more hit singles, their songs continuing to miss the Top 40, usually charting around the 50s.
It's also the song to pro skateboarder Corey Duffel's part in the Osiris Shoes video Feed The Need.
In 2006 the song was covered by Apoptygma Berzerk.
