Shin-Aomori Station

Shin-Aomori Station (新青森駅 Shin-Aomori-eki?) is an unstaffed station operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) on the Ōu Main Line in Aomori, Aomori Prefecture.
It will be rebuilt to become the terminus of the Tōhoku Shinkansen extension due to open in 2011.

The station consists of a single bi-directional platform serving a single track.
From 2011, the station is scheduled to have a single island platform for Ōu Main Line trains, serving two tracks. The shinkansen station will consist of two island platforms serving four tracks.

- 1 November 1986: Station opens.
