Shika, Ishikawa

Shika (志賀町 Shika-machi?) is a town located in Hakui District, Ishikawa, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 15,361 and a density of 124.82 persons per km². The total area is 123.07 km².
On September 1, 2005, the former town of Togi was merged into the town.
There are two nuclear power stations in Shika, one of which had a grave control accident in 1999, which was covered up by the management [1].
