Shih Wing Ching

Mr. Shih Wing Ching (施永青), whose ancestral hometown is Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, was born in Shanghai in 1949. He came to Hong Kong at an early age and began his business in the property industry. Centaline Property Agency Limited was established in 1978 and throughout the years it has expanded tremendously. It is now one of the biggest property agency both in Hong Kong and China.^{[citation needed]}

Mr. Shih is also an active philanthropist.^{[citation needed]} He is a well-known face in charity, often actively participating and contributing in non-governmental organizations.^{[citation needed]} He is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Hong Kong Sinfonietta, a Council Member of Oxfam Hong Kong, and a Member of the Housing Authority, Commercial Properties Committee and the Subsidized Housing Committee of the Authority.^{[citation needed]}
