Shiekh Mohammed Rashid Bilal was a famous Shafi'i mujtahid, imam, historian, and astronomer from Harerghe, East Ethiopia. He was born in 1906 and died in 1988. his seat was at a place called Chirrati in Habro district, 17 Km south of Gelemso .
