Shibushi, Kagoshima

Shibushi (志布志市 Shibushi-shi?) is a city located in Kagoshima, Japan.
The city was founded on January 1, 2006 from the merger of the town of Shibushi with the towns of Ariake and Matsuyama.
As of 2005 population data, the city has an estimated population of 34,777 and a density of 120 persons per km². The total area is 289.47 km².
