[edit] Barbeques

Please do not change the word 'barbeques' to 'barbecues', as the former is the correct spelling for Australia. Cnwb 13:04, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

I was wondering how that q got back into the wiki ;) I have always debated that "barbecues" was correct, but then I am an eng, and do engineering for the reason of that I prefer mathematics to english. Where could one find some 'australian' proof of the word BBQ.

BTW there are still 2 "barbecues" in the wiki

and just so we aren't both editing the same page at the same time add the temporary webpage (www.geocities.com/bduivesteyn) next to the upcoming .com.au address . ty.

Actually, I think that either is correct. I checked the Australian Oxford Dictionary and it's listed as 'barbecue' - so I think your version should stay. Cnwb 22:33, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
