I'm a cell biologist and sometimes freelance writer who occasionally attempts to fight back the wicked forces of wikilawyering and blind deletionism.

I'm primarily interested in improving the quality of the various D&D and other RPG articles currently on wikipedia, a process which will ultimately require a lot of rewriting, proper sourcing, and on some level culling less notable stubs. Hopefully over time more editors with a love for the topic and an understanding of the myriad sources within the genre will help out and make that particular corner of wikipedia better in the long run.

And contrary to the opinion of some of my students back in grad school, I'm not a fiend... I just moonlight as one online.
