Talk:Sherman Fairchild
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
--The personal life section doesn't make much sense. It talks about him in the present tense, while Fairchild has been dead for 34 years. It seems to be opinionated. Also, how is it possible that his current favorite recipe is for dumplings made with ricotta cheese? This seems to be fictional. I don't know much about him, so I can't make any changes. - That section was a massive verbatim plagarism lifted from the article "The Yankee Tinkerers" in the July 25, 1960 issue of Time Magazine (http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,826520,00.html), which was published when Fairchild was alive (hence the present tense in the section).

- NOTE: A lot of these sections appear to be verbatim plagarisms lifted entirely from other websites and other web pages. They appear to have been entered into this article by Schreck59. Unfortunately, it appears that Schreck59 has contributed many other WP:Copyvio's to many other articles in the Wikipedia over the past year, probably in good faith that he wasn't doing anything wrong...nevertheless, cleaning up all of the copy-vio's is going to take a while; please help, and please, I hope somebody -- with better diplomatic skills than I possess -- can break the bad news to this user.
