The article has come along way since I first started it. Thanks for the help. I do need help on getting a map for the road. I am having trouble trying to find one. --Dblom5 08:44, 30 October 2007 (CDT)

Feel free to add more yourself. Googling '"Shepard Road" "Saint Paul" yields a lot of references, including who Shepherd Road was named for, how when it was built in the 1960's it destroyed the entrance to Fountain Cave (where "Pig's Eye" Parrant, the "founder" of Saint Paul, set up his liquor operation in the 1830's); the Bruce Vento natural area being developed off Warner Road, etc.
If you are not sure how to add references for your additions, just put the url in brackets [ ] and I'll clean it up.
There a a couple of map sources but I haven't found one yet which gives a sense of the terrain and is still legible. I'll keep looking.

Yes. Mapmaker is too large a scale; I'm still looking at EPA maps.
I recalled another reason why USGS might not work -- the USGS uses older data and the road was since rerouted inland for a mile or so just west of downtown. In this segment [1] it was located near the river (as shown) but has since been moved inland near the mainline track after the railyard and coal stockpile yard were removed. Other than this segment the road still has its riverside alignment. Barring other sources it may be appropriate to link to individual road segments of the USGS topos to support text on the individual parts of the road. Kablammo 19:16, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

KEEP this article! This is an important road, which those outside of this area may not appreciate. Road snobs? Why not delete "Route 66" as well? After all, it's just another road. This entry deserves to be kept on the Wikipedia site. While some references should be added to support the facts here, they are all correct as far as I can determine. I found a possible picture for the article. This picture shows part of Warner Road near Childs Road (it looks similar to an interchange but it is not marked an any maps I have seen. This is also the only part of the entire road that looks real similar to a four-lane expressway with an exit that i know of.)
