Sheshandao Island (Chinese: 佘山岛; Pinyin: Shēshān Dǎo) is located in 35km east of Chongming Island, in the estuary of Yangtze River.
Total island area is 0.037 km².
The island belongs to Shanghai and is guarded by PLAN.
There is a 130 years old light house on the island.
2005Nov 1st, The stele of "Chinese territorial sea baseline point" erected.[1]
