Sher-e-Bangla Mirpur Stadium

Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, is a cricket ground in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It holds 47,000[1] people and was built in 1970. At first it name was given Mirpur Stadium.Then Government renamed it as Shere-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium.Contrary to what the name suggests it is not actually situated in Mirpur, but rather in the Mirpur Thana district of Dhaka.
