Coordinates: Sheoganj is a town in Sirohi District of Rajasthan state in India .Sheoganj is the tehsil headquarters of the tehsil by the same name . It is 14 km. away from Bamnera. The nearest raiway station is Jawai Bandh.Sumerpur town in 2 km from Sheoganj and Falna and Ranakpur are within 1 hour drive from here.

As of 2001 India census,[2] Sheoganj had a population of 24,785. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Sheoganj has an average literacy rate of 67%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 56%. In Sheoganj, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Many fairs are held in Sheoganj and its surrounding areas.They are:
- Gautam Ji on Chautila Hill ,fair is of Meena community devoted to Gautam Rishi celebrated on 13 th April of every year.
- Kambeshwar Mahadev on Kanakolar hill ,dedicated to Lord Shiva.
- Vambeshwar Mahadev at Jadoli Veer
- Jagnath Mahadev Fair at Sheoganj town.
- Pabuji Fair on the river bed of Jawai river , celeberated by mainly bhils.
- Korta is nearby of Sheoganj (just 10 km) and on Katika Poornima and Chaitra Poornima Jain Samaj celebrated there fair every year
