Shenay Perry (born July 6, 1984 in Washington, D.C.) is a professional female tennis player from the United States.
Her father was a firefighter when she was growing up and now teaches tennis full-time. He was her first coach. When Shenay was 11, her family moved to Florida so that she could train at the famous tennis academies there. Shenay likes long walks on the beach with her border collie, Rufus. She is the first cousin of Timothy Perry, a rising star in the men's tennis world. Timothy Perry attends Woodberry Forest School in central Virginia. With Timothy Perry, Woodberry won its sixth Prep League Championship in seven years. Shenay has been sighted holding hands with sweetie Robert Exum of Wilmington, NC at a McCallister's Deli in Philadelphia; thus many conclusions can be drawn from this observation...
She began her professional career in 2004 in Auckland, where she reached the quarterfinals with a win over Virginia Ruano Pascual. At the 2006 French Open, Perry reached the third round.
Perry was the only American to reach the 2006 Wimbledon Championship round of sixteen. She was the last American to be eliminated.
