Shen Pei (? - 204) was a minister of the Three Kingdoms Period that served under Yuan Shao. Pei was criticized by Xun Yu many times as being called "strong of will but without tact". Following the death of Yuan Shao, Pei went on to serve under Yuan Shang. Shen Pei afterwards was caught by Cao Cao but refused to surrender. However, in honor of his fallen lord Yuan Shao, Pei asked if he could be executed while facing north, which was in the direction of his lord when he would be executed. After Cao Cao saw the great loyalty that possessed Shen Pei, he made sure to give him the most honorable of burials.
