Real name: Maryam Alqatan (born June 28, 1969), commonly known as Shemayel (Arabic:شمايل) is a female Kuwaiti singer whose talent was discovered by Kuwaiti composer adel almsilem . Shemayel released her first album in 1998, and has since released four albums to her name. She has also recorded several music videos include enta menni ,ya athabi ,kaser alzejaj ,katheb o sadeg , ta'athar & aheb aljarh.
