Shelter is a 2007 film written and directed by Jonah Markowitz and distributed by here! Films. The main character, Zach (Trevor Wright) puts his future on hold so that he can work to support his young nephew Cody and family when no one else will. In his free time, he spends time with his nephew (Jackson Wurth), his friend Gabe (Ross Thomas), his girlfriend Tori (Katie Walder) and riding the waves surfing. Gabe's older brother Shaun (Brad Rowe) comes back home for awhile to cure the case of writer's block. He and Zach first spend time together as friends and later as lovers. After their relationship is discovered, Zach's sister wants to keep Cody away from him and his relationship with Gabe suffers. He has to either put others first, as he always has, and suffer for it, or he must fight for what he wants, as Shaun and Tori want him to do.

Shelter will be released on DVD on May 27th.
