Sheldon Turnipseed (born November 30, 1977, in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Jamal on the PBS kids' show, Ghostwriter. He decided to become an actor when he was six years old.[citation needed]
His previous work includes "Mo' Better Blues", a Spike Lee film.
He enjoys karate.[1]
