Sheldon's mascot is the Fighting Irishman, a leprechaun with two upraised fists, hence the "Fighting Irish." Alternate representations of the school include the school crest or a clover.
Sheldon's fight song and Alma Mater are often used to show the school's spirit. The fight song is particularly popular at football games during which the song is played when points are scored.

Go Sheldon High!
We're gonna win this game tonight!
We're gonna fight, Irish, fight!
We're gonna show you the Irish might!

So, go big green,
The mighty team,
We're gonna roll to victory!
Sheldon Irish,
We're Number One!!!
