Shelby Township is one of thirteen townships in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,078.

Shelby Township covers an area of 54.11 square miles and contains the unincorporated town of Montmorenci. According to the USGS, it contains three cemeteries: Asbury, Shambaugh and Spencer.
