Shek Wan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Shek Wan (Chinese: 石環) was a bay in the western part of Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. North West Tsing Yi Interchange was built near the place.[citation needed] It was reclaimed for Hong Kong United Dockyards. The Chinese name Shek Wan (石環) might be mistakenly from Shek Wan (石灣), which means a stony bay. The two characters of Wan in Cantonese are of same pronunciation.
