Her Royal Highness Sheikha Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa is the first wife of Bahrain's King Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the mother of the crown prince His Royal Highness Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. As the head of the Supreme Council for Women in Bahrain, she is heavily involved in the empowerment of woman in the Arab world. She is also the chief patron of the "Society for Women and Children" in Bahrain.
