Sheikh Muhammed Jamiu Bulala

Sheik Muhammad Jamiu Bulala is a Nigerian Sufi Sheik. He was known as Amir l aoliyah in Nigeria and beyond and in one of the excerpts from his speeches he referred to himself as 'Ghaouth Nigeria'. The sheik is known for dressing modestly. The sheik never was uneducated but came to be respected in in his knowledge of Islam. He also spent time in khalwa(seclusion). He is known to have influenced Sheik Abdul Rasheed Nkrumah. He was known in Northern Nigeria where Islam is a dominant religion and Shariah law is practiced.
