Sheikh Danun

Sheikh Danun or Shaykh Dannun (Arabic: الشيخ دنون‎, Hebrew: שיח' דנון‎) is an Israeli-Arab village located northeast of the city of Acre and southeast of Nahariyya in Israel's North District. It is one of the two Arab localities in the Matte Asher Regional Council. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics, at the end of 2005, the village had a population of 2,300 mostly Muslim inhabitants.[1]
