The Sheepshead Bay Handicap is an American thoroughbred horse race held annually at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. The race is open to fillies and mares, age three and up, who are willing to race the one and three-eighths miles on the turf. The race has a purse of $150,000 and is a Grade II event.

First run in 1959 at the now defunct Jamaica Racetrack, the race is named for the Sheepshead Bay Race Track which operated at Coney Island, New York from 1884 to 1910.
