The Shear-tailed Grey Tyrant (Muscipipra vetula) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Muscipipra. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
