Shea Weber (born August 14, 1985 in Sicamous, British Columbia) is an National Hockey League defenceman currently playing for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League.

He was drafted by the Predators with the 49th overall pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
Weber helped Canada win the gold medal at the 2005 World Juniors. He, along with Dion Phaneuf formed the teams' top defence pairing.
Weber has emerged as one of the Predators top defenceman, the best one the predators have ever had,ranking second among defenceman in points as of December 28, 2006.
Weber served a three game suspension during the Ice Hockey World Championship He was ejected just 1:19 into Canada's first game of the tournament on Saturday because he hit German player Yannic Seidenberg. Weber hit Seidenberg with an elbow as the German skated through the neutral zone with his head down. The play happened at high speed and Weber said he wasn't trying to hurt Seidenberg.
He was a member of the 2007 Canadian IIHF World Championship team that won gold in a 4–2 win against Finland in Moscow.
